If you take your practical driving test in an automatic vehicle, the so-called 'code 78' will be added to your driving licence.

With this licence, you are only permitted to drive automatic vehicles.

Do you want to switch to a car with a manual transmission?

In that case, you need a full Category B driving licence.

You do not need to retake the theory test for this; you only need to take a practical test.

 

 

 

 

 

Prices.

The prices for lessons with a automatic gearbox are the same.

You decide to pay one lesson at the time or multiple lessons in advance.

Seperate invoice for TTT and or the practical exam.

No admin or subscription fees.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Differences.

Driving lessons in an automatic or a manual car are largely the same. In both cases, you learn the traffic rules, how to apply them, proper observation techniques, and vehicle handling skills. The only difference is that you do not learn to shift gears or use the clutch in an automatic. Because you do not have to do this, you can focus entirely on the traffic.
